The Ethics Subdivision has been a vibrant and active group of ACS members in the Division of Professional Relations. Recent activities of the Ethics Subdivision include developing and organizing symposia at regional and national meetings, creating ethics decision-making scripts and videos, surveying members and publishing the results, holding an inaugural ethics bowl event, and giving talks on ethics issues. Our members are committed to ethics education and instilling the importance of ethics in the chemical enterprise. We invite members’ ideas for future programming and activities at upcoming meetings and welcome new volunteers.
