Abstract
 
Most common endocrinal disorders affecting pregnancy are thyroid disorders and gestational diabetes mellitus. Both affects health of mother and foetus & have high risk for pregnancy.
The aims and objectives of study was to assess the thyroid function test in pregnant women with and without gestational diabetes mellitus and assess the correlation in both two groups in patients attending medical and obstetrics & gynecology department of J.L.N. medical college and hospitals Ajmer, Rajasthan, India.
Data compiled and statistically analyzed.
Conclusion of study was the Thyroid dysfunction, hypothyroidism and especially subclinical hypothyroidism are common endocrine disorder in pregnant women. 
In pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus needs screening of thyroid functions (FT3/FT4/TSH), as mean serum TSH were higher in the our and other studies.  
Pregnant women with gestational diabetes must be screened for thyroid function and whenever needs they must be treated early, so we can present maternal and child morbidity and mortality.
