Understanding the electrochemical functionality of an interface requires the ability to track chemical and electrochemical events that happen during the electrochemical reaction. Vibrational techniques can reveal structural information; however, a number of challenges including background absorption in infrared and small cross sections in Raman have made the measurement far from straightforward. In this contribution, we present stimulated Raman spectroscopy (SRS) as an in-situ method for addressing the challenge of small cross sections in Raman. As a nonlinear spectroscopic probe, SRS has several advantages including efficiency, which will be discussed. Leveraging this improved efficiency, we apply SRS to measure the interfacial activity during an electrochemical reaction. We present examples from the model redox probes and amorphous cobalt oxide catalysts as examples of electrochemical systems which we have applied our SRS to. These results present the potential of SRS as a useful tool to investigate the structure of the electrochemical interface in-situ. The spectroscopic techniques, methods of analysis, and the experimental results will be presented.<br/>
