Each year the UDM Chem Club tries to have several recruiting events in order to reel in new members and increase our clubs numbers.  The first big event we do is a fall themed outing with old members, new members and professors.  In the past, we have gone to cider mills, haunted houses, and professors.  Throughout the year we host a variety of get-togethers, each with a different theme.  We have a Thanksgiving potluck, Holiday party and Ethnic Food Night.  These are open to everyone in hopes that new members will attend.   After the beginning of the winter semester we have our annual holiday retreat.  All of the science faculty and students are encouraged to attend.  We have ice breaker activities, board games, among other exciting events.  All of these help to bring mass crowds to these events and show how open and exciting our club is.
