Speciation and distributions of mercury of Hg0, Hg2+ and HgP in flue gas and combustion product were sampled by using the Ontario Hydro Method in a coal-fired power plant in China, which uses the circulating fluidized bed desulfurization system. The experimental data indicate that the gaseous mercury concentration in the flue gas after boiler is 23.415�g/Nm3. In which, the proportion of Hg2+ is about 81%. The flue gas cleaning system which is composed of CFB-FGD and fabric filter is very effective for particulate -bound and oxidized mercury capture. The total mercury removal efficiency of the ESP is about 20%, and that of CFB-FGD-fabric filter is about 63%. The Hg2+, HgP and total mercury emission factor of the power plant is 3.14, 1.60 and 7.30 ngkJ-1, respectively. The elemental mercury re-emission may be occurred in semi-dry FGD. The capture of HCl in the flue gas and formation of calcium sulfite may effected the mercury oxidation.
