SEPA (Process and Analyses department) is located on an old french uranium production site in France at Bessines/Gartempes With the renewal of the mineral industry of uranium, SEPA is again in the core of the studies for developing and increasing the mining activity of AREVA.It is one of the rare Department which, for many years, kept skills in the field of uranium hydrometallurgy.It is organized with an analytical laboratory, a metallurgical laboratory, a pilot laboratory, and a pool of  process engineers.It's activities includes :-         R & D studies for process improvement or new process for new ores.-         Studies for the AREVA Mining Group projects.-         Support for the Areva plants abroad.The paper presents the Department facilities and its activities from the past to the future.
