Prussian blue type materials from octahedral metal cyanides and other metal ions have been extensively studied due to their interesting structural, magnetic and other proteries. Recently, we have used octahedral but unsaturated metal cyanides to build cyano bridging materials. Only 3, 4 or 5 CN are available for bridging purpose. A great variety of 2 or 3-dimensional frameworks were obtained. These frameworks showed interesting topological properties with different sized channels and holes.
