We demonstrated the first example of a repeatable self-healing electronic sensor skin by using a composite of a self-healing supramolecular polymer and nano-structured conductive particles.1 By rationally varying the composition of the electrically conductive inorganic fillers, we obtain both electrodes and piezo-resistive sensor materials with both electrical and mechanical healing capability at room temperature.
