SweTree Technologies develops and commercializes new methods to improve cellulose-based fibers and products.Hollow cellulosic spheres SweTree Technologies can offer technology to make hollow cellulosic spheres with porous or solid shells depending on the application. The hollow spheres, which can have a size in the range 50 �m to 4 mm, can contain in principle any liquid or gas. Porous spheres can release a desired compound through the shells and gas filled spheres with solid shells can be used as filling or packing material.Magnetic cellulose A method of producing a material consisting of an aerogel made from cellulose with magnetic nanoparticles incorporated into the structure has been established. It is known that magnetic particles tend to agglomerate during and after formation. This approach can overcome that issue and provide an agglomerate free magnetic nanoparticle material with high mechanical properties.
