Providing environmental, health and safety advice and support can be challenging when one supports a department or institution with diverse research interests, but imagine supporting a project that involves collaborators who perform work at eighteen different national and international institutions as well as the host site for the experiment, which happens to be 4,850 ft below the Earth's surface. Each collaborator brings with him the practices and culture within his home organization, yet a uniform set of performance standards must be agreed to if the project is to be successful. Ms. Jeskie will discuss her recent experience supporting just such a project and others with similarly unique characteristics.
