The ACS Exams Institute has produced nationally normed exams for nearly 80 years. Over the past 3 years, a content map based on anchoring concepts has been devised, and this map provides a template to look at content coverage of ACS Exams in a longitudinal sense. The first set of exams for which this process has been undertaken are the 'flagship' full-year General Chemistry exams. Tests from the past 20 years have been analyzed with this content map and results of this study will be presented.
