This presentation will describe the use of functionalized nanopartices and polymers at interfaces, especially fluid-fluid interfaces that provide routes to encapsulation, pickup, and release.  The electronically active nature of the particles and polymers used contributes unique functionality to the droplets and vesicles described, and efforts towards novel all-nanoparticle-stabilized double emulsions and other functional structures will be discussed.
