Metathesis has become a key technology in both the petrochemical and fine chemical industries, and the development of more efficient processes require the development of robust heterogeneous catalysts that can be improved through rational designed.Here, we will discuss the latest development towards well-defined �single-sites' supported alkene metathesis catalysts and our effort to bridge the gap between well-defined systems and classical catalysts.
