This talk will report on our recent work in C-H bond functionalization. Specifically, bidentate auxiliary-assisted functionalization of sp2 and sp3 C-H bonds by palladium and copper catalysts will be discussed. Furthermore, deprotonative functionalization of sp2 C-H bonds proceeding via aryne intermediates will also be presented.
