Graphene has been extensively studied as a building block of materials for electrochemical energy applications. In this talk, we will discuss the synthesis and characterization of graphene-based materials. Graphene is a good model substrate to study material structure-property. The application examples of graphene-based materials in fuel cells, supercapacitors and batteries will be reviewed and discussed.
