The Independence Science Foundation (ISci) works with teachers and employers to make new opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) careers. ISci supports scholarships to schools to provide access technologies for students with disabilities enrolled in STEM related courses. Additionally, ISci provides grants to researchers interested in developing new technologies that will empower the disabled to pursue employment in STEM related fields. ISci is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that is committed to equal opportunities in STEM professions for all persons with disabilities.
