With remarkable degradability and insignificant cytotoxicity, well-defined cationic nanocapsules are synthesized by thiol-ene cross-linking of allyl-functionalized cationic polylactide in transparent miniemulsions. As novel nanocarriers, they can effectively circumvent P-glycoprotein-mediated multidrug resistance and enable co-delivery of small molecule drug and genetic agent to cancer cells.
