The generation of metallopolymers through P-H activation of secondary phosphites using organometallic precursors has been achieved.  A range of backbone linkages have been screened to provide a range of structural motifs.  While much of our work has been focused on the use of gold precursors, we have been able to extend this chemistry to group 10 metals as well.  This presentation will focus on the effect of solution vs. bulk polymerization reactions as well as functional group tolerance.
