The Journal of Chemical Education and their companion Web-site, ChemEdX, offer ready to use activities using materials you can find at home. Several 'greener' replacement labs and activities will be highlighted that offer safer/greener alternatives to laboratories that are typically used. The chemistry teacher's role in chemical stewardship will be discussed.
