N2200 was reported for the first time by Antonio Facchetti in 2009 as the highest mobility, air-stable n-type polymer. With mobilities reaching close to 1 cm<sup>2</sup>/V.s, N2200 opened the prospect of complementary organic logic with n-type and p-type semiconductors having matched mobilities. In addition to its important technological consequences, N2200 has proven to be an extremely interesting model material to study structure-property relationships. Initially thought to be amorphous, we showed later that it is in fact extremely crystalline. Interestingly, the interfaces exhibit very different texture and order compared to the bulk thereby affecting device performance in interesting ways. Its aggregation properties in solution and in thin film also proved to be unique. In this talk I will summarize the main findings regarding N2200 and will conclude by showing how its particular morphological properties allowed us to draw generally-applicable conclusions on the importance of local order in charge transport in conjugated polymers.
