<i>Chemists Celebrate Earth Day, a STEM outreach event is organized at the MoS, Boston each year. This event is a collaborative effort from NESACS, MoS, and several institutions in the Greater Boston area. During these events, undergraduate/high school students volunteer their time and share their passion as science educators. The science educators engage MoS visitors, especially the young ones, with fun-filled & hands-on chemistry activities. The key goal is to motivate participants to pursue degree/higher education in STEM areas. Engagement of undergraduate/high school students in such outreach events has assisted them in developing soft-skills such as leadership & communication skills. The positive impacts of such events on students will be presented based on sample data from Salem State University. </i>
