We report on recent progress coupling first principles molecular dynamics caculations carried out with the Qbox code (http://qboxcode.org/) and GW and BSE calculations performed with the WEST code (http://www.west-code.org/). We discuss results for molecules, solid/liquid interfaces and liquid water.
