A novel tris-indolyl iron-chelating drug was prepared in our lab and tested for anticancer properties.  Apoptosis assays via flow cytometry were used to measure the compound's effect on the viability of K562 (human leukemia) cells at varying concentrations. Preliminary data from MTS assays showed that K562 cells exposed to our compound had a decrease in viability.  Further results will be provided.<br/>
