Within the Dow Chemical Company a variety of heterogeneous and homogeneous catalyzed processes have been developed towards commercial practice. In this presentation an overview will be given relative to a variety of processes where catalytic systems are crucial in respect to product development. The advance of homogeneous olefin polymerization catalysts will be highlighted among others relative to the importance and use of prime olefin feedstock. Additionally, the advance and use of high throughput methodologies will also be discussed.<br/><br/><br/><br/>
