Distillation is the most applications of chemical separation, the largest energy consumption and the most extensive key common technology, while the difference of the relative volatility and the mechanism of multiscale mass and energy transfer are two key factors to determine the separation process of energy consumption and efficiency. Based on the separation principle of the distillation process, the intensification mechanism of gas-liquid mass transfer and the coupling mechanism of multi-process, the applicant have been carried out systematic research on the energy saving and intensification of distillation process. By investigating the effect mechanism of the intermolecular force on the molecular configuration of the gas-liquid interface, the phenomenon that the relative volatility of the mixture could be changed by the microwave field has been firstly discovered. The porous media has been applied to intensify the gas-liquid mass transfer process. Through revealing a new mechanism of gas-liquid mass transfer, the efficiency of separation has been significantly improved. A new method for the whole process of reactive distillation is proposed to study the coupling mechanism, coupling route and system design strategy of reaction and distillation. The research results provide the theoretical foundation for realizing the energy saving and strengthening of advanced distillation separation process.<br/>
