A series of mono- and dinuclear palladium and platinum complexes have been prepared and characterized by NMR spectroscopy. To test cancer cell inhibition, these complexes were introduced to cell cultures of L1210 mouse leukemia cells with varying complex concentrations (200µM-0µM). An MTT assay was used to determine cell survival 48 hours after incubation with the metal complexes and plates were read using multi-well plate reader 72 hours after plating.The results of these experiments as well as additonal reactivity tests are described.
