Proteins adsorb on the surface of inorganic nanoparticles and such form an "organic" coat. This process can be followed by measuring changes in effective size of the nanoparticles. This is for example possible by measuring diffusion processes of nanoparticle-protein complexes. Different methods to perform such measurements will be discussed and possibilities to perform such analysis in complex environments will be outlined.<br/>
