Low temperature ionic melts composed of redox active molecules enable the study of well known and new redox couples in new environments. When the redox active material itself is a component of the eutectic mixture, active concentrations can be as high as 6 M. Studies of physical properties and applications for proton-coupled electrochemistry and spectroelectrochemistry of catcehol-based deep eutectic solvents with and without titanium will be presented.
