The field reports on OH reactivity has been overwhelmingly persistent reported in the forested region. We intend to discuss the implications of the missing OH reactivity to the ozone production and the reactive carbon budget in two different photochemical environments - in a rural Alabama and a suburban forest near Seoul South Korea. Firstly, we will quantitatively compare between extensive PTR-ToF-MS spectra and the magnitude of missing OH reactivity. The discussion will progress into the evaluation on ozone production potential from unidentified volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the atmosphere. Finally, a box model framework will be utilized to assess our ability to constrain reactive VOCs in the environments.
