Background
To evaluate the changes of left ventricular systolic function of patients with moderate to severe aortic regurgitation (AR) before and 6 months after operation by myocardial layered strain technique.
Method(s)
20 cases with LVEF> 50% Patients with severe AR and 20 patients with moderate aortic insufficiency served as the case group, and 20 normal volunteers served as the control group. All subjects were examined by echocardiography before and 6 months after operation, and the changes of left ventricular systolic function were evaluated by myocardial stratified strain technique.
Result(s)
Before operation, the LVEDd (mm), LVESD (mm) and ao-a (mm) in severe aortic regurgitation group were significantly higher than those in control group (P < 0.05); in case group and control group, tlsendo, tlsmid, tlsepi, glsendo, glsmid, glsepi and gcsendo, gcsmid and gcsepi were all gradiently decreased (P < 0.05); compared with control group, tlsendo, tlsmid, tlsepi, gcsendo, gcsmid and GCSE in moderate and severe AR group were all gradiently decreased (P < 0.05) PI decreased (P<0.05), especially tlsendo, tlsmid and tlsepi (P<0.05); Postoperative:compared with severe AR before operation group, tlsendo, tlsmid, tlsepi, gcsendo, gcsmid and gcsepi were all decreased in severe AR after operation group (P < 0.05) (P < 0.05), while compared with moderate AR before operation group, there was no significant difference in tlsendo, tlsmid, tlsepi, gcsendo, gcsmid and gcsepi in after operation moderate AR group (P > 0.05).
Conclusion(s)
Myocardial longitudinal strain can more sensitively evaluate the early subclinical changes of left ventricular function in patients with moderate to severe AR. before the early changes of left ventricular subclinical systolic function in patients with moderate to severe AR, myocardial strain technology should be used to evaluate the cardiac function, and timely surgical intervention is very important for the prognosis.
