Relationships were established between the extraction conditions of phenolic compounds, finding that in the seed extracts the antioxidant response evaluated by ABTS (r = 0.484), DPPH (0.561) are related to the mass / solvent ratio factor. While in the peel extracts, the ethanol concentration was correlated with their ability to inhibit the ABTS radical (r = 0.488), but it was not related to the antioxidant response studied by DPPH and FRAP. The results suggest that the extraction factors can influence the phenolic profile extracted, which in turn allows us to observe changes in the antioxidant response. It can also be inferred that the phenolic compounds that interact in each of the methods are different or that the antioxidant response may be the product of a synergistic action, which varies with the modifications in the phenolic profile.
