Polymer micelles capable of binding biological macromolecules are of significant interest for their potential utility in broad application areas including fundamental biological research and biomedical applications. Engineering of the surface of the micelles is known to provide colloidal stability and alter its properties to absorb proteins onto the surface of the micelles. Along these lines, we set out to investigate the colloidal stability of a series of polymer-based micelles and how those micelles differ from each other in terms of their capability to absorb a target peptide. In this work, a small library of polymer-based micelles have been prepared and their peptide binding properties have been systematically evaluated.
