High-throughput screening strategies have revolutionized biopolymers with strategies including directed evolution of proteins and SELEX of nucleic acids; however current strategies for the synthesis, purification, and characterization of unnatural macromolecules are currently limited to the evaluation of hundreds of structures. We will describe our progress towards expediting the identification of structure-function relationships for synthetic macromolecules using high-throughput strategies design to target thousands to hundreds of thousands of unique structures simultaneously.
