Aim: Location into Brazilian Portuguese and validation counseling materials on significant life transitions by age group "Growing Up with Hearing Loss," available on the Ida Institute website, aimed at children, adolescents, young adults with Hearing Loss (HL), and their families. Methods: The tool materials were localized into Brazilian Portuguese, revised, and diagrammed in a PowerPoint® presentation format in its test version, maintaining standards similar to the tool's original design. For the validation stage, the 44 participants were divided into groups G1A (7 children and adolescents with HL), G1B (7 adults with HL), G1C (12 parents and/or guardians of children with HL) and G2 (18 speech therapists) evaluated the tool using different questionnaires prepared according to the evaluation focus of each group. Results: The results obtained by groups G1Aand G1C reached a level greater than 75% of positive agreement, as well as in G2, more than 80% in frequency of positive responses were reached, thus demonstrating that the tool was evaluated positively by such groups, except for group G1B which obtained 74% of positive agreement. Conclusion: "Crescendo com a Perda Auditiva" presents valuable content for the Brazilian population. The counseling tool associated with intervention programs has the potential to help identify and reflect on the difficulties caused by the effects of HL in addition to the challenges encountered during life transitions, recognizing the necessary support could help to learn the skills to manage those situations successfully.
