Former Sciensus and Elsevier Leader, Usama Dar, joins Morressier as CTO

Morressier is thrilled to welcome Usama Dar to our growing team.

Usama has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). He brings a wealth of experience from the worlds of scholarly publishing and digital transformation. He previously served as Chief Product and Technology Officer at Sciensus, where he led the digital transformation of the largest pharmaceutical services business in the UK. Prior to that role, he was a VP of Engineering at Elsevier, where he introduced a new vision for leveraging machine learning and big data to their scholarly publishing platform. 

With his diverse background of product development, software engineering, and design, Usama is ready to get hands-on with the Morressier platform and our technology teams:

In addition to the technology and engineering experience, Usama brings additional expertise from the world of scholarly publishing. From his time at Elsevier, he is already equipped with a deep understanding of the unique challenges of these workflows and the needs and priorities of Morressier’s customers.
