Morressier and IWA Publishing partner on integrity analysis
Morressier to support IWAP with integrity intelligence and analysis via Integrity Manager capabilities in fight against low-integrity content that threatens scholarly publishing
Berlin, Germany and London, UK, July 3, 2024 – Morressier, the Berlin-based startup transforming scholarly communications, today announced that in a collaborative project it is providing integrity intelligence to IWA Publishing editorial teams via its Integrity Manager capabilities. Under the agreement, the partners will work together on analysis to better understand and ultimately combat fraudulent and low-integrity content.
New technologies, challenges of scale, bad actors, and pressure on article costs are fueling an integrity crisis in scholarly publishing. Trust in publishers and the integrity of the scientific record itself are at stake. With a strategy to complement in-house technologies with the best emerging integrity solutions from the market in a single workflow, Morressier released Integrity Manager in May 2023.
