ASCPT Enhances Research Integrity and Streamlines Editorial Workflow with Morressier's Integrity Manager
ASCPT uses Morressier’s Integrity Manager to provide its editorial teams with a full suite of integrity checks, including paper mill detection and image verification.
Berlin, Germany | Washington, DC, February 5th 2025 – Morressier, a leading provider of technology solutions for scholarly communications, today announced that the American Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics (ASCPT) has successfully implemented Morressier's Integrity Manager to enhance the integrity of its published research.
ASCPT recognized the increasing challenges of maintaining scientific rigor while ensuring an efficient review process. Traditional manual checks for research integrity proved time-consuming and inefficient.
Alethea B. Gerding, Managing Editor at ASCPT said of the collaboration, “Before Integrity Manager our team spent considerable time reviewing manuscripts that ultimately proved to be of questionable integrity. Now, with Integrity Manager's early identification of potential issues, such as paper mill generated content and image manipulation, we're able to significantly reduce the time spent by our associate editors and reviewers on unsuitable submissions. This not only improves efficiency but also ensures that our reviewers can focus their time on truly impactful research.”
Sami Benchekroun, CEO at Morressier stated, "Morressier is thrilled to partner with ASCPT and provide an easily integrable solution that seamlessly enhances their existing workflow, while delivering immediate value to their editorial team."
