The attendance protocol impact of child with fever in the school. Introduction: It is known that children spend more time in day-care centers and this fact requires interdisciplinary knowledge of educators. However, these professionals don´t have knowledge to address issues related to children's health. Objective: To verify the attendance protocol impact of child with fever in the school. A protocol was implemented to assist the child with fever and analyzed the variables:the fever episodes, number, conducts, knowledge and employee safety in face of temperature changes. Casuistry and Method: This is a quasi-experimental, before-and-after study with a quantitative approach, carried out in the day care center, 286 students from 0 to 4 years and 11 months were enrolled. Teachers showed greater knowledge about fever definition and greaters and safety to care for a child with fever. Results: After the implantation of this fever protocol there was an increase of non-pharmacological measures prescription as well as in the exercise of communication to the parents. Conclusion: This protocol provided knowledge and guidance to educators and nursing assistant, guiding them as the most effective procedure to be used in children with fever case.
