Insulin initiation and intensification is part of diabetes education. Diabetes educators help people with diabetes adjust insulin with the use of treatment algorithms designed to reach their glycemic goals. There is many options in titration that includes the use of digital therapeutics. According to the resent national protective survey, majority of the diabetes educators are involved in a process of insulin titration and selecting technology associated with it. Insulin titration is part of standard diabetes self-management education that is delivered as therapeutic intervention is a group or one on one setting. The changeling aspect is that, there are many apps and technologies available that makes it hard to decide which one is FDA cleared, valid or reliable. This presentation will evaluate the effectiveness of digital titration technologies and strategize ways to incorporate it into evidence-based diabetes self-management education and support.
