Over 1.7 to 3.8 million people in the United States seeking medical attention for head injury each year (Haydel, 2012).  Righttime Medical Care and HeadFirst Concussion Care provide care to patients presenting with mTBI. Headfirst is an outpatient multi-disciplinary team, that involves medical personnel (physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, nursing assistants),psychologists, (neuropsychologists & psychologists), athletic trainers, community educators, and specialty resources in the community.  On average clinics treat between 700 and 1100 mTBI’s patient visits a month. With this type of mission, the identification of concussion specialists is so important to afford patients the best quality care.  The purpose of this study was to aid the HeadFirst and Righttime medical care in identifying clinicians who were: Novices; 
Competent clinicians; Concussion specialists.  Clinical staff assessment was conducted.  85 staff members were reviewed.  Clinicians who had seen less than 50 mTBI’s (novices requiring continued supervision); 150 + mTBI (competent – fluidly completed exams and comfortable with diagnosis and recommendations for mTBI); 750 + (concussion specialists – knew how to use subtle differences in cranial nerve functioning to assist in the diagnosis and treatment planting for mTBI).  Recommendations for further research are reviewed.
