The persistent and severe postconcussive symptoms of a woman were analyzed and treated with applied behavior analytic methods one year post onset.  A physiotherapy exercise target behavior was chosen, operationally defined, and then treated in a changing criterion design.  This involved gradually increasing the criterion required to access a reinforcing activity.  Data show clear change in the woman's exercise behavior that occurred dependent on the criterion that was introduced.  This change was replicated, demonstrating the dependence of her behavior change upon the intervention.
