Estimating the infarct core volumes using CT perfusion (CTP) in acute ischemic stroke is important for selecting patients eligible for intra-arterial thrombectomy who present late presentation at the ER (6-24 hours). In order to apply these results from multicenter trials to individual patients, infarct volume measurements should be accurate and reproducible. Previous studies have demonstrated that there may be large variability in volume measurements between different perfusion algorithms. We compared two commercially available CT perfusion techniques to the final infarct core volume measured on the MRI-DWI. Also, we performed a visual assessment of these two techniques.
