Semiconductor quantum dots (QDs) have generated substantial research interest in the past two decades because of their connection to various applications such as: cancer treatments, photovoltaics, bio-labeling, and fluorescence microscopy. Advances in QD chemistry have led to the development of a variety of techniques to synthesize and functionalize quantum dots, and dynamic fluorescent measurements are increasingly being used to characterize the photophysical properties of quantum dots. While, most of the lifetime measurements monitor QD fluorescence at a single emission wavelength or across the emission band in images, there have not been many reports investigating time domain measurements of CdS and ZnS semiconductor quantum dots. <br/> <br/>In this research, Fourier-transform emission-decay matrix (FT-EDM) measurements, i.e., wavelength- and frequency-resolved, broadband fluorescence lifetime measurements, are used to investigate the photo-physics of CdS and ZnS semiconductor nanoparticles. <br/> <br/>
