A copper-catalyzed synthesis of tri- and tetrasubstituted allenylboronic acids will be presented. The presentation contains examples of allenylboronic acids applyied for the asymmetric synthesis of homopropargyl alcohols, imines, indolines, and amino acid derivatives. A new methodology for the synthesis of allylboronic acids will also be presented.
