Funded by an ACS Innovative Project Grant, the authors, on behalf of the Division of Chemical Health and Safety, the Committee on Chemical Safety, the Division of Chemical Information and the Division of Chemical Education have colloborated to develop the design concepts for a risk assessment module applicable to the undergraduate organic teaching lab environment. The design considerations will be discussed, including how the chemistry content was selected and the RAMP safety logic was applied to these chemical processes.
