The American Chemical Society UPRB Student Chapter currently consists of 62 members. Our chapter’s goal is to impact our university and the community through chemical knowledge. This year our chapter mission is in encouraging the United Nations Sustainable and Development Goals in all our activities, creating a movement. To achieve our goals, our student chapter has a total of six divisions: Biochemistry, Chemical Education, Community Outreach, Environmental Chemistry, Green Chemistry, and Professional Development. The Biochemistry division provides our students and the community an understanding of the importance of chemistry in biological aspects. With the Chemical Education division our chapter provides to the K-12 students, the tools to understand the fundamentals of chemistry, by visiting schools, our Chem Club “We matter Club” in a partnership with Boys and Girls Club of Puerto Rico, and the UPRB Chem News Subdivision recently created. The Community Outreach division has provided our members the opportunity to get involved and participate in numerous outreach events. The Environmental Chemistry division has the goal to educate and create awareness about the environmental issues happening globally, the chemical processes involved and their impact on society. The Green Chemistry division focuses on promoting community awareness about the importance of following the 12 Principles of Green Chemistry. Our Professional Development division focuses on providing our members tools to grow as STEM majors by bringing conferences, networking opportunities, and workshops. For National Chemistry Week, our chapter organized several activities at and out of the university including participation of the Chemistry Festival in San Juan P.R., and the ACS Marvelous Metals Program in a Box. We will also participate in the 42<sup>th</sup> ACS Senior Technical Meeting, presenting our student chapter poster. ACS-UPRB continues to work efficiently to provide our members the best experiences and extracurricular activities.
