A stable [Os(tmphen)3]3+ (tmphen = 3,4,7,8-tetramethyl-1,10-phenanthroline) reagent was prepared in neutral aqueous solution by oxidation of [Os(tmphen)3]2+ with lead(IV) oxide. We further doped Os3+ complex in TEOS along with various NSAIDs. Our goal was to develop a optical sensor based on TEOS which is doped with metal complex and NSAIDs. Current research includes doping TEOS with NSAIDs and Novel Osmium complex in various oxidation states. Further, we analyzed four dopants: dopamine, acetaminophen, 3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid, and 4-hydroxyphenylacetic acid. Analytical application of the TEOS system is presented, which includes method development.
