<br/>Single atom catalysts (SACs) have attracted attention because of improved atom efficiency, higher reactivity, and better selectivity. The also provide a link with homogeneous catalysts.  One major challenge includes achieving high surface concentrations while preventing these atoms from agglomeration to meet the dual challenges of low temperature activity and high temperature durability. This talk will presents our latest results in the preparation, activation, and tailoring of single atom catalysts.<br/>
