The study of shape memory polymer has attracted much interest in this field. Different weight percentages of 4,4'-Methylenebis(N,N-diglycidylaniline) (10%,20%,30%,40%) was mixed with epoxy resins through “thiol-epoxy” click reaction and various properties such as storage modulus, thermal stability and shape memory rate etc. were studied. Test samples were prepared by compression molding and then implemented to different performance tests. As the content of 4,4'-Methylenebis(N,N-diglycidylaniline) increasing, the thermal mechanical properties and thermal stability both enhanced. And all of the test samples exhibited great shape recovery performance. Moreover, in order to investigate the adaptive capacity of these epoxy polymers in hygrothermal environment, hygrothermal aging test of composites were studied, and the results displayed relative low water-absorption (only 1.2%). Thus, thermal mechanical properties, good shape memory ability and low water-absorption demonstrate it has potential for commercial uses.
