Electrospinning is a technique capable of fabricating polymer fibers with diameters in the micrometer to nanometer range (Fridrikh et al., 2003). While electrospinning was first conceived and patented in 1934, it has only been studied in more detail since 1980’s, gaining popularity in the past decade (Raghavan et al., 2012). Several researchers have found that the solvent system used to dissolve the polymer for electrospinning is an influential factor with respect to fiber diameter. Multiple papers have explored just what properties of the solvents have the largest effect on fiber diameter and several studies found that the diameter of electrospun fibers is influenced by the boiling point of the solvents used to dissolve the polymers. The work presented here looks at the effect of both solvent boiling point and solvent dielectric constant on the fiber diameter of electrospun fibers.<br/>
